| Larry Gray is a wildlife biologist, environmental educator, singer/songwriter and ecopsychologist. His lifelong love affair with the natural world has taken him down several paths. One of those is that of a singer/songwriter. " When I was 18, I put a Gordon Lightfoot album borrowed from my sister on the turntable and when I heard the Canadian Railroad Trilogy, I was hooked. I said to myself, I want to be able to play and sing that; so I bought a guitar and taught myself". Years of listening and watching Lightfoot, Bruce Cockburn, John Denver and others led him to develop a unique style but one obviously derived from these influences. |
|
Larry has lived and worked in the
Northwest Territories of Canada for 12 years in places like Rankin Inlet,
Arviat, Yellowknife and now Fort Smith.
